A wonderful day was had by all at ACN’s Blacktown Family Day!

Held at the Bungarribee Community Resource Hub, ACN hosted a free family day for local community members.

The event, attended by 38 autistic individuals and their families, with the majority being 12 years old and under, provided an opportunity for them to access free support and activities during the October school holidays. Parents/Carers felt at ease, knowing that at ACN, everyone is welcome to come along and be themselves.

Parents / Carers and siblings met others in a similar situation, and were able to chat and connect.

From our arts and crafts table, Play-Doh making, cupcake decorating, sensory space, face painting, and outdoor activities, there was something for everyone!

We want to thank our wonderful volunteers, Mia, Nadia, Sandra, and Alison, who assisted on the day, and also thank everyone who came along, which made the day a great success!
